The Louisville Slugger 2012 (-9) Xeno Fastpitch Softball Bat features a solid connection between the handle and barrel, giving players maximum performance, even on inside hits.  Vibration from a miss hit is absorbed before it reaches a player's hands, allowing you to maintain acceleration through impact for increased and more consistent performance.  The Xeno Fastpitch Softball Bat  features Swing1 Inner Disc Technology (S1 iD) that allows the barrel to flex to its maximum allowable performance level.  Swing 1 Two inner discs are positioned inside the barrel at the sweet spot to stop the barrel from flexing past the performance limit, giving players maximum allowable performance. Thinner high-strength and light-weight graphite fibers allow for reduced wall thickness, creating better performance while maintaining durability. Thinner graphite fibers allow use of more layers in the barrel for added strength, but with an overall wall that is thinner.
